Who among the AI judges got your respect?

Among the American Idol judge, Who got your respect and attention. Like when He/she speaks, most of the time you agree with him/her. It doesn't mean you don't disagree with him/her but the person just caught your attention. Mine is Kara DioGuardi. (except for the attraction to "men" which is quite common to women) She has a good musical perspective that whenever a contestant has done her share, I usually anticipate her comments. Next to her would be Simon, He's rude but knowledgeable I just find him sometimes inconsistent. Then Randy, then ellen...

In spite of his "directness", I think Simon is the judge who I agree with almost 99.99% of the time. My next is Kara, then Ellen, then Randy. I don't know why I don't care too much for Randy's critique's? "Dog, I just didn't get it", just doesn't tell me much. His other critique is about pitch. Maybe it's because his critique's are limited to pitch and "I didn't get it" that I don't care for his critiques?

I think Simon is the most influential judge among the four, Though I pick Kara for her views; but in reality i can't imagine if Simon is no longer there. People often waits for simon's comments. They may hate him, and boe him but they just can't neglect that simon is a genius in seeing things which mere humans can't even notice.

1 Simon - He is honest and talks to these kids just like any recording studio looking for the next big thing would. I mostly wait to see what Simon says and 9 out of 10 I normally agree with him. I am usually thinking what he says. 2 Kara - She is also honest and is just under Simon. Better than Paula even though she has a cougar crush on Casey James she is still judging him correctly and not letting that stand in the way. 3 Randy - He just says the same thing all of the time. Not a lot to contribute he is just okay. 4 Ellen - Not much I see her as just a fan of Idol. She doesn't have the music background knowledge so I don't give her a lot of credit in this field.

In reality, regardless of what they say about Simon I believe everyone is always waiting for His opinion. When he says no, everyone bo him but in reality they know he is saying things in a very technical way, and in a right perspective but he's just so rude that it may sometimes make or break a performer. But when he says Yes, we know that the performance is 90%-100% great. Good snoop

Kara DioGuardi is the one to beat. She really has an idea of what a music should be. She's not the one whom you can mess with when we talk about music. Kara has been very consistent with her comments. She knows when a singer could be a hit or miss by judging the voice quality. She knows who fits the radio voice and otherwise. Aside from her beautiful face, she can allure audience with her exceptional musical intelligence. She makes sense always of what she says to every performer.

Yes you are exactly right, Kara is the one in terms of musicality and talent is concern. What i know with her is that she has produced and work with a lot of artist that in a way (as you have said) she knows who is radio-friendly or not. In other words she knows who will make it or not. Thank you for the views.

I personally admire and respect Ellen Degeneres.. Critiquing is a lot more than just saying things as they mean to the contestants. She knows how to say things in right tone and manner.. Humane as it can be, she does it in her own way that helps the person on center stage...

I agree with your opinion bout ellen. She knows how to say things right. She really is a balance with the rest of the Idol judges. And the punchlines she has is very great and in time. Nice reactions

I would have to say Ellen for sure, I feel they made a great choice replacing Paula Abdul. Ellen gives her opinion without degrading and making them feel terrible about themselves. She is caring and it shows. How can you not like Ellen? Randy gets on my nerves with YO YO Dawg constantly even the girls he says that too. What is up with that?. And this year he is so critical, I dont't remember him being that way before. And Simon, well I just love simon he is straight up honest.

Ellen is a very tactful and very inspiring to the contestant. I feel that she should sit beside Simon often to balance the straightforwardness of Simon with her sense of humor, which is very natural for her to do. Her limitations to musicality, she made up by being naturally soft and uplifting even how poor the performance may be.
