Watch out, a parking ticket or traffic ticket from a decade ago might cause you stressful headache. They might bring your credit score down, since there will be a collectible bill against you. Even though you already pay for the ticket long, long time ago, because the High patrol authority has poor file recording, whether they can prove you had paid for the ticket or not, they still send you a bill. Unless you have a proof that you already paid for it. Otherwise, they state government can do whatever they want. This loophole is base on local government crying for money, and they will do anything to raise the fund. A piece of advise, better keep a record of your paid ticket in the future.

Thank you for this information. I just had to pay for a ticket the other day, so I will keep a record of it. I hope you are wrong about this, but nothing would surprise me these days. I am growing all the more leery of anyone who handles money, whether it is a bank or the government and everything in between.
