Have you been to a concert just to accompany a friend?

Even when you are really not a fan of the performer/s? I just received a message from my cousin this morning telling me that her mom already approved of the concert we are going to next month. I was really surprised because I didn't even know that this very popular Korean group was coming to our country, and now I have a concert to attend next month. LOL. I am not really a fan of Korean or any Asian pop music (Japanese, Taiwanese, etc.). We have already gone to a concert last year but we were both fans of those Hollywood singers. I feel kinda embarrassed because the ticket is worth P1000, or about $20, and she would treat me for that. I could understand why she wanted me to come with her because her classmates are not fans as well. Besides, her family trusts me because I could take care of her (she's only 14 and definitely shouldn't be going anywhere far alone). My only worry is that I might not share with her the same enthusiasm that she feels for them, because like I said, I barely know the group. I see them on TV and I know how popular they are, but I usually switch channels when they are on. But I know I am gonna enjoy it as well. I mean the whole experience of standing in line and probably meeting new people. And of course, seeing celebrities (even when they are foreign to me). Ever had an experience like this?

You don't go to a concert to stand in line or meet new people...you actually go to have fun...if you do not like that korean guy just do not go...if your friends asks you as a favour then you shoul consider...but it is not worth it to go just like that and know it would be boring!!!

Those things are fun for me. And it's not like I don't like them at all, I am just not a big fan. And it's a dance group, so I think I would have fun, too.
