I just downloaded the book Alice in Wonderland, by Carrol Lewis Stevenson... the orginal version. So now there are 13 phases of the story listed on my My Documents folder. They are listed as Alice 1, Alice 10, Alice 11, Alice 12, Alice 13, Alice 2, ALice 3, Alice 4 and on through 9. This is how they are LISTED on my computer screen of this file. I want to copy this whole story onto CD for my grand kids to listen to on a travel trip in the car. So.. I know to just do a copy thing and it will copy all these files/chapters to the CD, HOWEVER... I want them on the CD in order, 1-13. As they are listed on my screen here, it goes, 1, then 10-13 and then 2-9. If I just copy them with my program (I beleive it is RealPlayer but I also have NERO) will the files/chapters copy as they are listed so the story is not "in order" or will it copy them so that the chapters are in order even tho they are not listed that way? Plus, how do I know if all these files/chapters will fit on one CD? CD's I am using are DVD-R. So, all that said, I need help copying the files/chapters...in order..to a CD/DVD and hopefully only using 1 or 2 CD's total Any suggestions?

About the numbers -- can you rename them as 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 and 09? That way they will be sequential. Got to have the 0s before single digit numbers.

Well you can drag and drop the files into your dvd/cd drive folder on your computer. When you do your computer will give you the option to "burn to disc". If the disc you insirt isn't large enough to fit all of the files, it'll ask you to get a bigger disc. Books like that aren't easily split. But you can do trail and error. Depending on the size of the file (which w you would have seen when you downloaded it) determins what you need. since I don't know the file size or the max copasidy (listed on your cd-r.) I can't offer any more help.
