Do you think jQuery is the best JavaScript libray ? / myLot

I am new to javascript and looking to make some good stuff for my project. jQuery is very impressive to me even if only some basic knowledge. Also I am head about some more libraries are available like jQuery. What is your opinion, is jQuery the best?

I am not here to answer if jQuery is the best..

Yea..will do it..as well as use the link in your profile... :) I have exams right now on my head...so have decided to learn some stuffs after the exams...
