In which attire would you be most comfortable - for formal and informal wear and at home? I normally wear jeans & T- shirts as they are the most comfortable for informal, but for for formal I either wear a regular long sleeved shirt, trousers with tie or suits or traditional Indian to suit the occasion. And at home I prefer to wear T shirt with shorts or a Kurta & lungi. Oh yes by the way I do not wear footwear inside my home, while I prefer leather shoes while going out, if its just nearby or to the market then I wear floaters.

Hi Udayrao, I prefer Salwar Kameezes. Jeans seem too hot for this climate, and since we dont wear shorts or skirts - I prefer something loose. I dont feel comfortable in nighties. :( I want that freedom that jeans give, and I feel nighties force me to behave very ladylike, which is not what I want to be. :) I am inclined to be tomboyish. :)

I know salwar kameez is probably the best in this climate - tho my daughter wears western attire when going to some official functions for others & family functions she prefers the Indian salwar kameez; my wife at this age too wears salwar kameez - sari is only for marriage and other religious or family /formal functions.

I wear jogging pants and t-shirt at home, I like this comfortable attire. I wear jeans and blouse when I go out unless I go to church. I wear dress pants and blouse are skirt and blouse when I go to church. I also wear my jobbing pants when I go walking.

I am comfortable in any attire except formal wear. That's just me. I am most comfortable in T-shirt and jeans if I go outdoors. At work, I will just wear a short-sleeve shirt and pants. Of course, when going to functions, giving presentations to clients, or attending job interviews, formal wear is a must, although I really don't like it.
