Are we working as students at mylot ? Is mylot our teacher ?

Its been very regular for most of us to switch on your computer and open mylot.com. i really feel it has become a relation of what a student and school have. Just like school we do it regular, we learn regular, we make frieds, we increase our knowledge etc. The only difference between between these two is we are gaining everything without any price and infact we are being paid for that. and on the other hand we pay a hefty amount every month to schools or college.
The second difference what i can see is you can make as friends as you want and unlike school you have no time limit. You can do it 20 hours a day and you can be on leave without informing anyone. There could be plenty of other difference we can count like.......

Well ofcourse it is.. we are the learners and sharers here in mylot. I have experienced this in few weeks. And learned to make new friends to share thoughts and ideas.

Acid can teach you a lot too... but I'm not about to call a trip school. Sure you may pick up some interesting tid bits from writing on-line but can that really be compared to an education? No. In the end of the day all you pick up one MyLot is peoples opinions and as interesting as they may be you are no closer to learning anything... other than maybe perfecting your writing style, which may come in handy if your line of work is that of a novelist, sports writer, or anyone else who is fortunate enough to experiment with the art of the written word for a living.

MyLot can teach us a lot. In fact, there are many things in life that can teach us, even if we do not realize it. Every single moment of our life, there is a potential to learn something, even though we are unaware of it most of the time. MyLot is no exception, in fact, it is the best place to learn something and also have fun by doing it.
It just goes to show you that just because you are not in school, learning does not stop. If anything, once someone is outside school, they have more potential to learn something. In school, they are bound by a set curriculum. MyLot or any other place outside of school for that matter, can lead to some interesting opportunities for learning. Granted, school is not completely useless but it does seem like that sometimes.
