Does your Credit Card statement look different this month?

Mine sure does. It's not a bad thing in my case. My interest rate didn't go up, my minimum payment didn't go up, but there's a new section on the front page titled Payment Information. I think some of this might have been on the back of the statement in light, small print, but now it's big and bold and in your face. Late payment warning {contains the amount you may pay in late fees if you don't make payment by due date} A chart showing how many years it will take you to pay off your balance if you only pay minimum payment and how much you'd have to pay per month to pay it off in 3 years if you didn't add anything to it. I like full disclosure! It saves me the time to figure all this stuff out myself. How about you. Did your statement change? Do you like the changes?

No difference here. I have a pre-paid card, so if I don't put money in my credit card account, I can't use my credit card. This is nice for me, because I am not spending someone else's money, I don't get bills at the end of the month (just statements), and there is no intereest to worry about. No minimum payments, and no surprises.

I did not notice such. Perhaps its not applicable in our country considering that there is no changes whatsoever in so far as my billings statements are concerned. Well, that is definitely a good thing to see on our credit card billing statements. It will surely be a good guide. I hope that it will soon be applicable in our credit card statements.

Someone else on mylot mentioned that. It was either here on mylot or over on Gather. They said the government advised them to do that. I don't know if that is true or not, but I think it is a great idea. I always pay more than my minimum balance. If I didn't, I would probabaly have nightmares about being 90 years old and still paying off a credit card.
