Hi there. I have often asked my boyfriend for some space and time apart but he never gives it to me (lol). Instead he would be more caring and sweet because he thinks I just need more attention. He's probably right :) We've been together for 5 years now and there are times when you would start to question your feelings. Asking for a time apart is like doing a test drive to see if you can handle being without your partner. When you feel like you need more space and time then it means you have to work double time on your relationship.

I don't like the saying,so i will never say it to anyone.once it arise which means there are some problems between you.Maybe he no longer loves you like before ,if not he will try his best to get along with you ,so once it happens she should consider to end the ralationship .

I think in a good and healthy relation this kind of situation will not arise at all. If it arise then you can sure that there is some problem in your relationship.........

I hate to say it--he's just not that into her. People who love you don't need time and space away from you--he's just trying to politely get out of the relationship. I now it hurts right now, but she should count her blessings that he's giving her a way out and look for someone who really wants to be with her. Hope things turn out all right!
