hi! I really can't remember what I actually wanted to be, when I grew up, because I have many dreams when I was little! but as I still remember I wanted to become an austronaut because then I have learned about the first man who have flied in the space!

I wanted to be a firefighter or a soldier. I think I was inspired by the heroic movies I saw running on TV. Now I am still studying and haven't got a specialty yet, but I think it's not going to be the one I dreamed of back in my childhood.

I decided very early on that I really wanted to be a veterinarian, and I didn't change my mind until I was in 11th grade and researching possible college choices, and I found out just how much math veterinarians are required to know. I did poorly in math all the way through high school, so I started to believe that being a veterinarian was impossible for me because I was no good with math. Come to find out a few years later while taking math courses in college, I'm actually not bad at math- I just had a bad teacher in high school. C'est la vie. For a couple years I thought I would major in music, but I wasn't up to the amount of practicing that college-level instructors required me to do. It's physically painful to play the violin for 3 hours every day! I got into theatre doing backstage work and set construction and absolutely loved it, but then I moved to a different city and a different theatre and found out that not all theatre companies are as nice to work for as the one I'd been at before. I settled on a major in sociology, but then also got really interested in archaeology and decided to pursue a double major. I'll finish my sociology and archaeology degrees next spring. From there, I'd like to be able to work as a dig archaeologist, but I have no idea where life might take me. It'll be interesting to find out.

when I was a kid I always wanted to be an Airline Pilot, now I am older and in my adult years I am glad that I am not an Airline Pilot to be honest as I would of had to take a pay cut he he he and wouldn't be working from home like I am now. I have my pilots licence now but that is more for a bit of fun and to be able to take the family on holidays to different countries and not have to go via a major airline.
