status update..

Hello Lotters! I know a lot of us here have facebook accounts. Most of us too are posting our status updates right? I am just curious about other facebook members' style of posting for statuses. Some post every other five minutes about what they are actually doing or want to do the next five minutes, others post for really good phrases and quotes from genius people and post them in their profile to create a seemingly great attitude and intelligence that they DO NOT possess. They do this to impress other people though. Others, too, post every activity of their zynga games or other applications they are working with.
What should be written on those status boxes in facebook anyway? Does it have to be like tweeter tweets? Where you tweet every single thing you do in that particular time of day? Do you think facebook members should at least be aware that they flood their friends' homepage of silly quotes that doesn't match their personality? Would you click on "like" to good quotes even if they really are not true to the person who posted it? Would you wish that there would be "unlike" button too to let them know that people doesn't like their post and stop doing it? LOL! Well, i hope to hear some from you guys...

Some of those notifications seem to be automatic and get posted regardless unless you disable that particular function. I tend to use the status update just to let my friends know how I am.

I honestly don't update my "status" that much, and I certainly never use quotes. The people who connect their twitter to their facebook status or have to list where they constantly are annoy me to no end. They also tend to be the people I'm not that close to. It's weird.

I am the type of person that rarely go on face book anymore as i am always on here aswell as other sites.When i put a status up it is on there for a week or sometimes even more.I think that there are alot of people like me that leave the status up for a long time.There are silly status like going for a pee,had dinner,im back,going to bed,its sunny,im cold.

That's the main purpose why there's a like and dislike button on facebook. I don't really pay much attention to the shouts and so far all the shouts i've seen in friends are more on what they are feeling at the moment. But i rather not put a dislike in it if i don't like it personality since it might be offensive.
