Have you recieved a present you didn't like?

I have recieved a present I didn't like but I accepted it because it is rude to act like you dint like something someone got you. In reality it is the thought that counts and means something. I mean they could have not gotten me anything at all. I mean some stuff I don't like but eventually liked it later. I would rather have something then nothing at all. When I get something I am just happy someone thought of me. It really nice to be thought of. It shows they took the time to care. I really appriciate people with good hearts. It feels so great to be thought of. So remember when recieving a gift it's the thought that counts.

There were times that I received a present I didn't really like. But still, I too would be grateful and say thanks for the thoughtfulness. However, I can't really make myself like a present I don't like even if it would take years. I would keep it though.

Yes i totally agree with you. it is very rude to show the person who gave you the present you did not like it. however, then i have the problem that i do not know what to do with it, that is what irritates me most! also, i expect people who really love me would know what i like.
