I know everyone knows that fruits and vegetables are good for you and that drinking a lot of water is beneficial to your body...But I want to share some information about some unique food choices that are great for you that a majority of people overlook when they go shopping at the grocery store. The first food I want to talk about is Salmon. Salmon is a fish that is very good for your body and should be eaten once or twice a week. It is very high in the necessary protein that your body needs. It's also rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce inflammation and help with brain function, as well as many other things. Salmon is also a rich course of vitamin B12, niacin, vitamin B6, copper, selenium, and also a good source of vitamin B1, B2, and folate. Salmon can reduce or control the levels of harmful LDL cholesterol as well. Another food I want to touch on is Quinoa. Quinoa is a grain that is a complete protein. It is very high in amino acids and can be used in place of rice or oatmeal. Do any of you drink fermeted beverages? Drinks such as Kefir, Natural Giner Ale, and Kambucha contain lactic acid, have probiotics, healthy bacteria, and they help ease digstion and cleanse your colon. The drinks are extremely healthy to have at least once a day. Does anyone want to comment or share their own health advice? It would be greatly appreciated!

i had no idea about some of those things! I'll definitely look into that. A food that is good for your kidneys though is cranberries. You're right, natural food is definitely better. Processed foods are very bad for you and contain way too much salt and sugar. Processed foods also contain preservatives and unnatural flavorings and dyes.
