Philippines

Last saturday, March 13, One stop shop services for women opened at the University of the Philippines-Cebu, we-as rotaractors, acted as volunteers for the said event but when were there already we have noticed that it seems like all of the work has already been delegated to the NSTP students from the said school, so we ended up giving foods to all the participating persons-doctors, psychologists, NSO people and a whole lot more. While doing such, we have decided that our presence isn't really much needed in the event. As a result we ended up discussing what could be the most worthwhile thing to spend the afternoon of that day, then we ended up planning to go to Busay a few kilometers away from the place were already into. Busay is a province of Cebu, unlike any other provinces, Busay is a slightly elevated place, overlooking the whole city and the nearby Mactan Island. The view above there is very relaxing, what's even more relaxing is that a 5-star class hotel and the Citylight Towers-condominium are also located on the same place. Not to mention the main office of one of the two giant networks here in the Philippines can be also seen on the place. We went there to try the newest and the hottest ride discussed not only by students but also with the clinical instructors in our school. The ride I'm reffering to is the Zipline, it may not be new to everyone but for us who lives here in the city knowing that this is the first established Zipline in the entire city. This could be a good tourist spot and even Tourism for those who lives in Busay if the place was even more establisded, taking in consideration the fact that it only opened last October 2009. The name of the place was Dos Pares Zipline, its very easy to locate for the motorists has already become familiar with the place. If you are looking for a place to hang-out this summer try this!

hello there! I'm from Bantayan Island, its still part of Cebu. I don't know if you have already heard of our place but were famous for having white sand beaches way better than Boracay and during Holy Week we are known for eating lechons and the like which are forbidden to be eaten during the Semana Santa. You have mentioned "when we go back to the Philippines" I would like to know where part of the world are you currently located?
