Mobile is it Boon or an evil?

For some mobile is a great thing but for many it is a nuciance.what do you say?

I think cell phones are needed for an example what if ur stranded some where and u need to call some one to get you or if ur care breaks down do you really want to walk miles to the nearest phone.
