Hi icecubic, Java is a high-level programming language developed by the Sun Microsystems(Now a part of Oracle). The initial name of this programming language was named "Oak" which was later changed to Java. The name Java bean is a type of a coffee bean. The first java applet written is named "Hot Java". Later then, the programming language itself accepted the name Java.
