CS Cheater Stabbed

Just read this news article that a 17 year old gamer was cheating at his local net cafe in China, and was stabbed in the head with a 12 inch long knife! He has had many hours of surgery to remove the blade. It missed all the major arteries etc, and he's still alive. Now that is quite lucky. I completely despise cheaters, they completely ruin the gameplay for everyone else. But this punishment is a tad harsh don't you think? Thoughts? Lee.

Yeah, I'm thinking a suspension or banning from the game is a whole lot more appropriate...

I feel that everyone should for the most part play fairly or at least play along with other people that cheat and let you know they are. It should be mutual and you should be working towards a more common goal. But obviously the person that stabbed the kid in the head obviously has more issues than the kid that was cheating. Cheating pales in comparison to stabbing someone in the head for something as stupid as cheating.

Most definatly. The cheater should have been punished, banned from the cafe or whatever. But a 12 inch blade to the head is harsh! At the moment, the attacker has done a runner, but I hope they catch him, who knows if he would do it again :/ Lee.

Cheating is bad, but if you're stabbing people because they cheat, who's got the bigger mental problem?

Oh wow, I've read some really crazy and bizarre things lately and this one is up there. Talk about scary. Cheating is wrong and it takes the fun out of things but this solution is going way overboard. There are certainly other ways to go about it after all, like banning the guy or something. Geez...all I can say is that the person who stabbed the guy is crazy.

Yep, indeed. The attacker has done a runner, but I hope they catch him :) Lee.
