favorite character?

My favorite character is Kate. She is brave and gets things done, even climbs trees and gathers fruit, helped Claire have her baby, all kinds of stuff. She also cares about others in spite of all she has gone through. I don't relate much with anyone since I am not a leader or a follower but I will stand up for myself and others. Maybe I can relate to Kate best since she is like that to some extent. I don't really dislike any of the main characters all that much.

As far as the male characters, Sawyer has become more likeable, though perhaps not totally, as we've learned what made him the way he was and we've seen how he's changed.Jack started out strong but now we've seen faults in him. Hurley seems like the one character who has remained true to himself.

I like said (sp) or Hurley. I absolutely can not stand Jack.

My favorite character is Sawyer, hands down! First of all, I'll admit I've always had a weakness for the rebel, the "bad boy", and he's sure easy to look at. Having said that, I also have to say that I consider Sawyer to be the most real or honest character. He's done some ornery things. He's been selfish and crafty, but he always comes around. When the chips are down, he always does the right thing in the end. Once he commits himself, he's the most loyal to that person or cause. Sawyer isn't judgemental and doesn't expect others to conform or agree. I like the way he states his case and that's the end of it. That's the kind of man I'd want on my side. With Sawyer, what you see is what you get. Jack was a big part of why many survived the ordeal on the island, but his character has control issues and a martyr complex that drives me nuts. Sure, he had a strained relationship with "doctor daddy", but jeez Jack, ease up already! Now he seems to have relinquished control, but in a very self-serving way, so I can't like him much for it. In some ways he's more damaged than any and seeminly for less reason. Kate is one gorgeous woman that's for sure! She has the will and the wits to survive on her own. I suppose my problem with Kate is that you really can't trust her. You KNOW she's gonna lie if she has the least reason to believe that a lie will get her--- someone or something she wants, or out of trouble. Even though she might be putting others in harm's way, she just sees what she wants/needs and says or does whatever to get it. Of course I like old lovable Hugo and Jin. What's not to like there? Hugo is simple and loyal and funny. No agenda unless it's to help in some way. Jin has come the farthest toward becoming a better person through the ordeal. His focus is on his wife and he is a loyal friend. The most complex characters for me are John lock and Ben Linus. Love em, hate em, love to hate em---both very damaged, very traumatic, sad pasts. John, with the potential to be a hero, but in the end---not. Ben, a perfect villian who might still shock us with something good in his big toe. smiles, ink

Jin has become a better person since being on the island. Kate is the main female role and in some ways, I feel sorry for her because she's keep's get rn in different directions.

my favorite characters are Jack & Kate. I hope they two can be together again. I don't like John. I think he's stubborn and kind of crazy. It may be that I don't believe the same thing as he does. Plus, that the "monster" took after John makes me dislike him more.
