I went online a few days ago and was thinking that myself I do not like to spend more than 30$ on a pair of shoes. I seem to buy new ones for my girls every two months and cannot afford to pay more than that at one time. So how much are you willing to pay for a new pair of shoes?

only about $10 to 20$ for growing feet. For myself I have paid up to $75 for tennis shoes but found they arent much better than the cheaper ones!

Whoa that seems like a little. Where do you get your shoes at? I have thought about going to the thrift shop but I never can find anything that fits me just right. And if I do it is not my type of style of shoes. Nice post thanks and happy mylotting to you.

I do not think I have ever paid over 50$ for a pair. I know some really nice shoes costs more but I am not sure I could ever really pay that much myself. Maybe someday I could. I agree food is more of a need than a new pair of shoes. Thanks for the response happy mylotting.

hmm, a really tough question, because these days I have seen some really good leather shoes for the rainy days with an air-cushion and a "breathing sole" from Deichman, but the price was $70 which is really too much for me, especially when I don't have a job. but the last ones that I have bought cost $33 and are also leather ones, but not that qualitative as the ones from Deichman! well, i think that $30 is also my limit

Yeah I know some good shoes costs a lot. I mean If I could afford to get a pair at 70$ I would no doubt. Nice response and thanks for taking the time to do so. Happy mylotting to you.

I can't afford to spend very much at all on new shoes, the maximum I can afford right now is about £10

My shoes cost $140, including tax and stuff, but I only paid $40 of it because I asked the family for a gift certificate from this store so I could get a good pair. I only have the one pair, but because of all my foot problems, I have to have one really good pair of shoes. Mind you, I got these for Christmas of 08! (actually got them in early 09.) I wear them all day every day (well, I didn't wear them last Sunday because I never got dressed last Sunday.) So, I'll pay a good bit of money for good shoes and I'll wear them until they are worn out. Oh, and I have supports inside them to help them last longer since the internal supports is what I wear out first.

In my opinion that is way to much to pay for shoes that are only going to be worn for a couple of months. I have diabetes so my shoes are special made and costs around $300.00 so I say thank goodness for insurance which pays for them. The Government allows one pair per year. If I was buying shoes for my children I would shop Wal-Mart and get them for around $10.00. They waer just as well as the $100.00 a pair Nike.

I have paid more for shoes if it was a birthday present or someting but I don't buy as often as you do. I guess it averages out to around the same. If I see some nice shoes on sale..I will get them but the more expensive ones..well..I wait for special occasions on those. My gorls like the knee high converse and those things run around $80 a pair. They each have a pair but one got a pair for their b-day and the other got some on Christmas. I searched high and low for a good deal on them before buying them too..lol. For myself..$30 is around the highest I pay. I don't buy for myself much anyway.

Umm, way more than I should. I bought a pair of the Skechers Shape-Ups for almost $100. Thats the most I have ever paid, but they are well worth it. I love those things. I have bought three pair of TOMS shoes, which are usually around $50 but I count that as two pairs of shoes since for every pair you buy they give a pair to a child in need. Knowing that I have helped three kids who couldn't have shoes (and because of that couldn't go to school) means the world to me and I intend to buy more pairs throughout my life when I can.

I don't buy new pair of shoes for myself too often, I usually do it in the end of the summer, when I've earned enough money with a summer job. I usually buy a pair or two and if I see some really good shoes, I'll give like 100$ for these ones. But it always depends on how much money I have. If my resources are limited, then I would lower that sum to 60$ or 70$.

When it comes to shoes theres nothin in particular that i like for as long as im comfortable with what im wearing theres nothing to worry about at all. And personally i preffer wearing sandals but of course you wont be able to wear a pair of sandals when it comes to formal gatherings thats why i cant help it but to wear shoes too. When it comes to the price i dont pay attention to those expensive ones cheap but classy looking pair of shoes are often fine with me ;)
