how to hyperlink an image with url ?

hi..,.,. i am building a blog to make referrals for ptc sites and sites like mylot.... but problem is i dont know how to hyperlink an image with any url... can anyone help with the issue? thank you.

In my profile I have some proofs of payment with hyperlinks. I have them on my blogs too. I get them by uploading the proofs to Photobucket.com. Then I autoimatically have a link or a HTML code for each one the images and as long as I keep them uploaded there, then the link will work.
