If you have a daughter aged 16 and got pregnant and her boyfriend would want to marry her and take the responsibility of building their family. Would you allow your daughter to get married? are you willing to entrust your girl's future to this guy who's also about her age?

no no no and this is why, at 16 you just arent mature enough to make a huge comitment like that. i got pregnant at age 16 and i thought the father would stick around, but when we got a bit older he bailed. i would tell her that she needs to wait till shes at least 18 and see how things are in the relationship at that point. i am now married to a wonderful man who takes care of my children like they are his own. just because you have a child at such a young age doesnt mean that the father is who you are meant to be with.

I guess I'm the odd one out. I feel that if she is pregnant, they should get married. The child shouldn't have the stigma of being born out of wedlock. If he can't fully support them, they should live with one of their families.

of course not! i will never allow her to get married at that age even if the man who got her pregnant would like to marry her. here in our country, the legal age to get married is 18, with the parent's consent. 16 is too young to get married, i am afraid of the kind of life she will have by marrying such an early stage when all she must have do is to study and think about her future.

Welcome to mylot A 16 year old girl is matured compared to a 16 year old guy, a 16 year old guy unless son of a rich father can never support a wife.. rest you think... we will never allow them to marry rather.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor
