What type of friend do you have?

I have two friends who are very close to me and I consider them as my best friends. It have been two years that we three have been friends and that till now we still remain friends.
What about you all? Do you have close friends or love to keep many friends. What kind of friends do you have or if you don't, then what kind of friend you want to have?

I have one friend whom I always go out with. She is a very good person, outspoken and she can easily make new friends too. I also have other friends whom I don't see very often but still are my close friends. We can talk for hours on end, spend time talking about anything, even nonsense. =) I love to make friends. I love to make people happy. I am not choosy with friends but I only befriend people if they want me as their friend. It will be painful having a one-way friendship, right? So I only get along with people who wants to be friends with me. =)

Yes, you are absolutely right. I think it is just senseless to make a friend who doesn't give us the same kind of friendship in return. Well, even I spend a lot of time chit-chatting with my friends over the phone or whenever we meet. Even if we don't seem to have a topic to speak on, we keep blabbering whatever comes to our mind! Lol! :P

Same with my friends. We also talk about anything that we could remember. The friend that I am often with presently has been my friend for few years. Like I said, she's a very outspoken person, she's friendly, she's entertaining, she's a good friend. She may not be perfect but she's a good person. Everyone has flaws, so does she, so do I but we still get along well. =)
With my other friends, I mean my friends from my childhood, they're still there. We still get along. We could talk about anything. They're good friends of mine also. Our friendship has stood the test of time. We're friends since we were 7, and now we're almost in our 30's, we're still friends. Although I haven't shared much sorrows and joys with them just as I have with my present friend, still I treasure them. I treasure my friends a lot. I love them like my own sisters. =)

I have two close friends too. They help me when i need help and i help them too. I don't like to have many friends who are lying and trying to get something from me..

i like danider s last statement. anyway, i have 5 controlling friends. i met them barely 2 years ago. i was having severe depression and PTSD back then and was regularly being put through therapy. they were always very supportive of me and i barely have known them. and when i try to do something stupid and out of hand they were always there to stop me. i was always asking them why the good deed and their answer was always -because we re friends.- so yeah, friends it is. i dont really like their interests and hangout spots but, in a way, they saved me so i just stuck by them and i try to help whenever possible if they get into some mess. so yeah, that s how we are..

Tha's really good. At times, friends say that this thing is good and guide them to the wrong way, those are not the close friends, the friends who helped you out and stopped you when you were going to do a wrong thing, those friends were the actual close friends. It is nice to know that such friends still exist almost everywhere. Thanx for your response!:)

Yes, I do have plenty, but I am particularly close with one guy I grew up with. We meet regularly, have a few buds and I know he is always going to come when I need him. However, I do not try to weight on other people's neck, if you know what I mean.

I also have two best friends here. they are helping me in all time. If i asked anything they should give me.. I really like them. And i want to do such friends..
