Will there be love without trust and respect?

I was once asked this question sometime ago, and as far as I know and I still hold thru is that the most important ingredient of any kind of relationship, be it romantic, friendship or in family are trust and respect, because if trust is absent; then there will always be distrust and doubt, the relationship will not prosper, and without respect how can we value and honor the other, and how can we say we love somebody we do not respect? Will there be love without trust and respect?

There can't be any love or any kind of relationship without 'trust' and 'respect' and moreover these feelings should be mutual and not one-sided. Your statement is very correct!!!
In a family, if there no respect for the parents from kids, then the family is devastated. If a husband distrusts and suspects that his wife is cheating on him, then that relation goes too bad and ends up in divorce...
When we talk about relationship, there is always some kind of love in each relation. Parents love their kiddies. Brothers love their sisters and vice versa. Friends love each other... There is love, always there. and it is built from the trust and respect that one commands..

Trust and mutual respect are very important in life. Once the trust is lost it is not easy to make up the relationship. Trust is like a pin that holds the whole relationship. We are not with the partner all the time, but we trust the partner's deeds and that holds the relationship tight. I hate people who lies and I never believe somebody who ever lyed to me.

i think there is a definition of love can define better.
in my view that if you trust some one in a way that no body can alter your mind against her and if you respect her views and herself then this is called love.
so with out these ingredients there is no love.

if in a relationship and there is no respect or trust to each other. though there is love involved between the two of them. the love will be gone because of they dont know how to respect and to trust each other. without trust and respect are the main reason of others why they want to get separated from their partner.

Hi in a relationship of any kind trust and mutual respect is a must, without this it will sure break one day or other, so we must trust our partner, this is true for parents and siblings too
