Armadillo At The Ocean

We have family here visiting us, here in Florida. We live about an hour from the Gulf of Mexico, and we took them to our favorite quiet beach spot today. This is a dead armadillo we found just lying up on a rock. It was definitely dead, and had started to decay. I would have brought the shell home with me, if he was completely decayed, but no one was willing to put it in the car in its current condition. Do you go to the ocean? What interesting things have you found? I really wanted a horseshoe crab shell, or blue crab shell, but there were not any this time. Seaglass is fun to find too.
