My cat meows when I live the house,he goes into another room and meows.Thats all he does and he don't shutup. As a matter of fact, hes doing ti now.He does it for no reason. He does it when I try to sleep at night. When I get up in the morning. When I sit in the living room.Thats all he does is meow. His food dish is full.He has water.I give him more than enough attention.Does anyone know why he may be doing this?Have you ever had a cat like this? But yet he hates being held too.

We have a cat that is very vocal even if her food bowl is full up aswell as her drinks bowl.I know she meaws at almost everyone in our house as she like the attention and she knows that she will get a fuss made of her if she makes enough noise about it.All of my other cats do not meow like her and they get alot of fuss aswell, so perhaps there are alot of vocal cats out there like ours.

i have a cat, from the day it was born until now he is still on my house, i love this cat it meows everytime i will sit at the table in the kitchen then it will go to me and it will meow like begging for food, well actually it does beg for food LOL, it also meows when the big cat is near him(cat) because i think my cat have a trauma on the big one when it attacks him(cat) and have a slight wounds and everytime my cat will see the big cat who attack him(cat) i will rush inside the house and it will meow like calling me to hide him(cat)and also i touch my cat during this event and i feel that it is very nervous maybe thinking that the big one will once again attack him(cat)

most of my cats have only done that if they were lonely, wanted to play or needed something. although some breeds like siamese, are more talky than others. a silver tabby i used to have was pretty chatty.he was always running his mouth off about something.

Perhaps he needs another cat to keep him company. I think your cat is lonely.

My old cat Tommy used to meow all the time. He loved to talk. He talked to get attention. The cat could be looking for attention and affection. If he is really young he could be looking for a mate.

How old is your cat, is he neutered, he might well be feeling the need for female feline company.

Funny you mentioned noisy cats . Right now i have like about 8 cats all in all . And when its time to feed them its more like a whole bunch of prisoners wanting to be free .But for some weird reason i just love hearing them give out those cute meows, although i have this particular cat who have this very bad voice like a drunk guy on the streets. Im not kiddin hes really like that pretty scary too . But hey no matter how noisy they can be i still love all my pets no matter what characteristics they have ;)
