an experience that what you said or did, no matter how small, has made a difference in someone. i love to hear from you myLotters. a friend called from the hospital crying. between his sobs i could finally make out: "mom... critical." hearing someone cried like that, let alone a close friend is hard enough to bear, what more of these words. frankly i didn't know what to say or do either. a good ten minutes later with no sound of calming down, i finally said. "i'm coming now." he thanked me when we met at the hospital. and those words i said, according to him, not only calmed him but gave him hope to lookout for the silver line in a dark sky.
