My grandparents 80th marriage yesterday!!

Friends, am happy to share that yesterday was our grandparents 80th marriage celebration. We generally in India, when our grandparents turn old of 80 years, we do a marriage and get their blessings. This gives happiness to everyone and we feel very lucky to see their marriages at our ages. I was overwhelmed as their marriage was a love marriage and they loved for 80years! Thats a great love and great grand parents!

Well, even i wish that me and love will celebrate our 80th marriage..But i feel my grandparents are good examples of true love that is long lasting and never fades!

Wow, that is great 80 years of marriage! A golden mile! Well I am always interested in hearing about other's traditions. Though I am a bit confused by what you mean "do a marraige and get their blessings" does someone get married on their anniversary?

Oh so it is a day of remembering. A day to celebrate your grandparents marriage from now back when they were younger. That sounds exciting, I am sure it is lots of fun to do!

Thanks for your response dear friend, well i meant we do marriage to our grandparents, sorry its a typo. All their sons, daughters and grand kids get their blessings and sing songs reminding of our granny, grandpas young age..haha. Thats lots of fun and happiness!

it is very rarely that you could hear a story like that. 80 years been together in love with each other. that was a milestone in love.
