Is this the most cruel season for the Pompeys (Portsmouth) ?

Already sure of being relegated & 9 points deducted by FA in addition to their chagrin, being thrash by every club game after game.... Is this because of the exit of players like Defoe, Glen Johnson, Crouch, Kranjcar ? What could be the reason for this, the club who win FA cup recently ?

I think the pompeys lacks proper planning and they are also hit hard by the exit of several key players as you mentioned..what I think hit them harder is the loss of Harry Redknapp who could have saved them from relegation as he was an experienced coach and has the quality to assess the weaknesses of his team and also the strengths. Now I believe that the pompeys lost all hope and they vare surely heading for relegation but if the management of the club can work in unison then there is no reason why they should not be able to make a comeback again in the forthcoming year.
