We have a basketball league and before we have our game, our team leader, who is our playing coach gather us together to have a short bible study. We learned yesterday that God wants us to grow as a believer, not just to stay as a baby in Christ. I have noted the lesson and it helps me to grow in my Christian life. From the day that I trusted Christ in my heart as my Savior and Lord, I have grown a bit, compared to when I first started my Christian life. How about you, are you growing spiritually?

Greetings, I am so glad to hear that your basketball coach takes the time to have Bible studies. And I'm also happy to hear that you have notice your spiritual growth. Yes, I too have grown spiritually stronger and closer to the Lord. Actually more so since 2007 when my 15 year old daughter was taken from me and was not allowed to join me when I relocated to a nearby state for a better life for us. But God has brought me closer to him through it all. Since my relationship with Jesus is much stronger now I wouldn't trade it for anything else in this world, it wouldn't be worth it. So, once again, it's great to hear testimonies from other believers. May God bless you.

Yes and I continue to grow in my spiritual life. As we get older and continue to go through the peaks and valleys in our lives we grow in our faith. God grows us up as we are on our journey. We have to work on our relationship with God and to continue to work on being closer to Him. The more we grow in our spiritual life the more we get to know God and see how wonderful He works. I notice more of the little things and in the past I never paid any attention. I have always been Catholic and just have a better understanding of what my faith is and what going to Mass means. Especially after I saw The Passion Of The Christ it gave me a better understanding of just what Jesus went through and how much He suffered for us. After seeing that my love for Jesus grew deeper and I felt His love surrounding me when my mom passed away.
