I think touch screen is good. It is easy to navigate. I am not sure about the durability, i brought it recently. My new Nokia 5800 express music. I think it is good to use, touch screen, good for music lovers.

I prefer both. I liked touch screens but when it gets broken it will be costly to fix and it will be irritating to use it.

I don't have much experience with touchscreen, but I think that keypad would be safer and more durable. Touchscreen can get damaged easily, if too much pressure is applied on it. So if I had to choose, I would choose the keypad.

I have a LG Triton, and it has both touch screen and keypad. But I bought mine back in August and I've already had to send it in for repair due to the touchscreen blacking out.

i used to have touch screen mobile before but when i drop the touch screen no longer working and when i bring it to repair its very expensive. while i used to drop my cp right now and its keypad and its still working even if the whole casing including the battery scattered on the floor. sometimes i drop it in water and i just turned it off and open it and use drier to dry it. so i wills till go with keypad but high end cp.

For me keypad is better. As we can press the keypad without any tension of whether i am hitting hard or slow. In case of touchscreen i have to worry so that i don't touch the screen hardly.

for me it is the keypad, because I can work faster with the keypad, and I also think and know that the keypad lasts longer than the touch screen, because there are actually not that many electronic and specific gadgets in it like in the touchscreen!

that would all depend on the phone itself I had one of the G1 phones and the touchscreen was very nice and durable but the phone also had a keypad underneath the screen only seen when you slid the screen up. In my opinion that is the best kinda phone you get the best of both worlds and can use either depending on what you wanna do.
