Ladies, what facial cream works best for you?

Ponds Age Miracle - A facial cream that works!

I often see Olay commercials on TV and even in magazines. When the facial cream first came out a few years ago, I bought one and regretted my decision. After just a couple of applications, pimples sprouted all over my face! I was disappointed to have spent a large sum of money for a beauty product that didn't work. When Ponds Age Miracle was launched in my country, one of their marketing schemes was to give away small tubes of the product for free. Interested consumers only had to send a text message and claim the free Ponds product when we already receive the confirmation text. After I tried the cream for the first week, I was hooked. The cream not only made my skin felt smoother and more supple, the annoying roughness on the sides of my nose also disappeared! I wonder, what facial cream worked for you?

When I was a teen I used Oil of Olay and Ponds Cold Cream when there was just one product for each. I have always used Ponds for cleaning my face but have tried different brands of moisturizers, toners, etc. I tried the Olay Total Effects when it came out but the results did not come up to par. I keep going back to Ponds. I should learn my lesson and not try anything else. Lol

I remember that time too! I think I was still in the first or second grade. My mom uses just this one bottle of Oil of Ulay (take note, it was still U then) with the pink liquid inside. Then I had this cousin who uses Ponds Cold Cream with the yummy lemon scent every night. I tried using that a couple of times and loved the coolness on my face but I was told not to start putting on things on my face while I am still young :p Now, I allow my two teenage sons to share my Ponds Clear Solutions facial wash because it helps control their pimple breakouts.

Hello, Writermom. I like Avon's Anew anti-aging range of creams. They're light on my skin and don't log the pores, and at 57 I'm wrinkle free, so obviously they do what they're supposed to do. I've always found Olay products rather greasy, which is probably why you got pimples.

Oh, I tried Anew a few years ago and my facial skin also broke out in pimples. I'm glad it worked for you. It's kinda pricey here in my country and I was so disappointed that I didn't get value for money from it.

To be honest, hun, I don't bother spending out a load of money on over-priced creams, lotions and potions. I have a simple moisturiser that I bought from Lush and it's perfect for my skin. It's a cocoa butter lotion, very natural and pure.

well i just use a lakme's matte finish moisturiser that doesn't leave my skin oily :) but i think everyone should have two creams which are suitable for summer and winter! :)
