How many hours of sleep do you usually take per day?

Sleep is one of the moments I look forward too after a long and busy day. It is so nice to snuggle up in bed underneath the sheets, especially on a cold winter's night. Some people however have trouble sleeping, or others even consider sleep as being a loss of precious time. Considering these thoughts, how much do you sleep per day on average, and do you like to sleep? :)

I only usually get 4-5. =/ One of the guys I love only gets an average of 6 hours per day and sometimes he goes on for several days (4 to 5) without any sleep and then goes off to sleep for a whole day! I have no idea how he is able to do it AT ALL. I don't think I can ever do that.

Hi! Friends, I am lazy in nature so sleeping is not fixed. But overall I can say I take at least 8 hours of sleep per day. From which 6 hours are of dreamy one. this 6 hours I also use my snoring power( I know it's look odd, but every thing is fair while sleeping.). And that 2 hours are not fixed. It just like 10 minutes warm up in day time. Got time and lay down in a bed and take a sleep. You can I am fond of sleeping. So Friends enjoy your life not only in sleeping but snoring also (very funny na).

I would love to sleep 8 hours a day but im afraid with the kind of work i have im goin to have a hard time doing so.I work in a call center graveyard shift so that means im pretty much awake most of the time at night and expected to sleep during mornings, but its really difficult to sleep in the morning considering the noise and the activities of people around me, so most of the times i just get to sleep half the hours of what i want.

I really wanted to have an 8-10 hour sleep but unfortunately I can't. We own a store that opens at 7:00am and closes at either 11 or 12 midnight so after closing I don't go to bed right away it's either I watch tv or go online to check emails and other stuffs. And you're right, sleep is something that I also look forward to, I just wish that I have all the time in the world to do that.

Hi grkelly, I usually take six hours of sleep daily. I would like to spend half an hour or more to enjoy a sweep nap in the afternoon If I could I surely would like to consume more time to enjoy sleeping. As we know proper rest could refresh our energy. But the problem is I always indulge in my favorite online activities and could hardly to stay away from them before twelve thirty Have a nice day

I sleep 8 hours a day because sleep is essential and without sleep you will feel stressed and lazy.

I try my best to sleep at LEAST 6 hours. Ever since I resigned from my job last month, I've so far been able to get those 6hours/day plus a bit more. Hehe. But when I was employed, I usually just got 4-5 hours a day during work days. :(

It depends on if I have things to do or not. Usually I try to sleep 8 hours, but it's difficult, as there are so many things to do in a day! However, if I sleep less I feel tired all the day, so I usually try to sleep at least 7 hours, as sometimes it's impossible to reach the 8 hours.

I like sleeping a lot, but my duty as a mother refrain me from doing so. I tend to sleep for about 3 to 5 hours at night. I have to wake up early to prepare breakfast for my family. When everybody's gone to work and school, I'll do all the house chores, rest for me is doing mylot and some online jobs. At home, I'm the first to rise up in the morning and the last to settle at night.

I usually try to sleep at least 7 hours a night. I find that I can function better when I've slept at least 7 hours. I prefer getting 8 or 9 hours, but sometimes it's not always possible to do so, for whatever reason. But I do try to get 8 or 9 hours of sleep whenever I can.

I love to sleep and like you laying down in my comfy bed with my comfy covers and snuggle with my man and my pup watching some tv before fallin asleep is my fave part of the day. But I rarely get as much sleep as I would like to get. I am one of those people who will get like 5 hrs of sleep and be so tired I think "I'll go to bed early tonight" and then I get home and think of the 8 million thigns to do...and the next day I'm running on 5 hrs. lol. I usually average about 4-7 hours a night during the week and 6-9 on weekends when I can sleep in.

I prefer to get somewhere between 7-8 hours of sleep per night but often fall a little shy. If I can get that much sleep then I feel well rested and do not feel like dosing off during the day. I can function on 5-6 hours but usually about 3 pm I start feeling tired and can hardly hold my eyes open. Sleeping is one of those thing I enjoy becuase it gives my body a break and time to unwind.

I am always hesitant to start sleep but when i start, waking up becomes the problem again. I remain in front of my laptop almost the whole night until my mom force me to sleep. In the morning i don't want to wake up again until someone pull away my blanket. In an average i think i sleep 7/8 hours but when no one wakes me up, i even sleep upto 12/13 hours.
