how much time you take to download 1gb of data on your connection

yes how much time you take to download a gb of data. i dont have a rapid speed connection. i have a 2mbps connections and i take nearly an hour to download 1 gb. but i remember the time when i used to download the data at 56kbps at my dialup connection. what are your views.

I have my internet plan which specially for downloading purposes. It can bring to me the transfer rate up to 300 KB/s. That's mean i can finishing a download of 1 GB of file within 2 hours or less. Since the transfer rate is not always stable, usually it's only 100-200 KB/s, so i can say if to finish a 1 GB download approximately will be 2 to 3 hours for me. There's the transfer rate increase in certain times, which usually after midnight, so if i want to downloading some big files, i will do it on that time and set it download automatically while i'm sleeping. So when i wake up in the morning, all downloads are finished. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hello dear i think you have high speed broadband connections so you may take not much time to download 1 gb data.. but i have only 64 kbps connection of airtel.. and it will take 2 days for downloading 1 gb of data.. so it take very big time for downloading.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always..
