Herbal medicines have appeal to the extent that synthetic drugs fail to provide relief. Indeed, the areas where herbal medicines seem to have most appeal is in the very areas where synthetic medicines are not able to satisfy the expectations of the consumers. Herbalist also offer hope for conditions that physicians cannot cure. It is surprising that herbal medicine is capable of producing apparent effective rates that are even higher in some circumstances than those produced by evidence-based medicine.

i am an advocate of herbal medicines. my recent experience is with my brother, he was diagnosed of hypertension, my mother searched the net of herbs that can cure or prevent my brother's illness, and she found out that tanglad or lemon grass can cure/prevent hypertension. everyday she boiled lemon grass and my brother regularly drinks the tea. surprisingly, my brother has normal blood pressure everyday.
