Well life without rice is very difficult in Asia, its the king of food.

I think so, well, I am actually sick of rice too, but my parents insist on having rice in my every meal, sometimes I skip rice when they're not around.

I think rice is pretty common in most households. Not just in Asia, though there as well. I had rice just last night for dinner.
