using a US cellphone in Canada

I will be going to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls in May. Will I be able to make calls on my cell phone without my cell phone company charging me crazy fees?

You should call their customer service about that. They will tell you if they are charging you for doing that and how much. Enjoy the falls!
