I just came across this thought on the internet: why can't women keep their mouth close d when putting on mascara? I tried doing it myself but my mouth just keeps on opening. lol. What do you guys think?

I do keep my mouth I had to try it too see. I see why they do it though. To keep the mascara from hitting the eyelid when applying it. but if you keep your face relaxed and look down a bit you can do it for the top lid. For the bottom lashes look straight ahead and curl them, or apply as you wish. I think opening the mouth makes it easier to make the faces to keep it from being applied on the skin. But that is my opinion.

My m0uth keeps opening too haha i think im just nerv0us not to hurt my eyes in applying mascara. When im nervous i find it hard to breathe.Maybe thats why my m0uth opens,to let the air pass thr0ugh easily.Well its just my theory haha

Yeah. I also noticed that. Funny though. Maybe its because the muscles of our eyes are connected to the muscles of our mouth. I really dont know.Just wondering what other lotters think.

LOL. I don't know why. I also do that whenever I apply contact lens and I look so funny.

haha yeah, even contact lenses. I think every time we put something in our eyes, this is a natural reaction.
