It bothers me that people post PTC ads more than making meaningful discussions

Doesn't it bother you that people use mylot more as a jumping off point for them to advertise their PTC sites? Advertising is fine but if all you do here is advertise and not make any meaningful discussion then what's the point right? be polite, lead us to your blog and we'll choose to either sign up with you or not. Shouldn't this place be devoted to a little bit more on the discussions so that we can build a tight knit community who at least have an inkling of knowledge on what the other person is like through our meaningful discussions?

It is actually against the posting guidlines to use discussions to promote personal websites or blogs. Mylot has other ways of doing that such as privite messaging and other things like that. So if it bothers you that much you are more then welcome to report them and bring it up to the attention of the mylot staff team.
