Am I the only one that responds to comments

On discussions that I started like a long time ago. I do. I will go to a discussion that I started like 9 months ago to see that there were comments that I had not responded to and just felt like, well why not. I'll just go and respond to these people. They probably won't know that I responded or yes they will, cause its in their email if they have were they are notified when someone responds to their comment.
Does anyone else do this.

I do respond to others comment as well but sometimes it takes hours or even days before i could answer them back. Hope they will understand, have a nice day ahead!
