what u read to respond?

what do read to respond for a discussion? do read subject only or u read the description also? i just first read the subject and try to look at another but when i dont find any interesting subject then i try to read the description... but it doesn't get my interest by reading them too?
what do u Think?

I normally read the subject and then read the description if the subject interests me. I first read what other people said about the topic and then decide what to write in the response. Because i dont want to be over powered by many people with the same view against only me with a different one.

yup but it depends upon topic.. like in this topic.. u dont need to read others first...
