2day is gud friday, culd any one tell me itz importance, why is this day celebrated and how it is celebrated?

i thought good friday was when jesus was put in the tomb, and the stone rolled across the front shuting him inside. then sunday is when the stone was rolled of the tomb and he came out alive. that was where we get the eggs concept from.

I think to remember the sacrifice of Christ because of our sin. We have already our salvation when he was nail through Cross. Prayer and fasting!
