I have a pug that is 2 years old and is very cute. The only problem is it doesnt do any tricks. It can understand its food call and can also recognize that we are telling it that we are going out. It also sits on command but it doesnt other real tricks. It is 2 years old presently and is greatly driven by food. It doesnt even play fetch. Anyone having any suggestions?

i think you ca. i have a pug and she is very inteliigent... you just need to be patient because pugs are very playful dogs and they don't seem to be listening as much as you think other dogs are... just be patient and keep on teaching your pug the tricks you want it to learn. im sure you will find him/her to be doing the tricks soon

yes, we can teach a 2 year old pug some tricks, as they are short the best tricks may be to fetch, roll over, and other simple tricks like to sit and to stand. apart from these we can also teach them to walk on a elevated plank, up and down the slope etc. the easiest way to motivate your dog to do a trick is to give it a treat every time it does one trick.
