Will there be a time when computers will rule the life of man?

I think this would be impossible because people will always be rulers in that they are the inventors and makers of computers. Man will always be the ruler because he discovers everything and makes everything in this world we are living in. Please join the discussion and we will hear from you.

Never yaar. Men cant bear that. They cant allow any one to rule them.This may be posible tha 99% of work is done by computers, but as a slave. Men is only master in this physical world.

Great. That's what I think too. There maybe people who make computer their way of life but more people will not allow computer to reule them.

Yes and No. You've caught yourself in a loophole. You (man) will deceive himself by thinking they rule cuz they made the technology... the same technology that impales him and acts as an everlasting crutch. However, there will always be people who will be independent totally or not ruled by the machines/tech that people create.

Yes, you are definitely right. Yes and no is perhaps the correct answer. But more people will not be ruled by the computer.

I'm thinking that this time has already arrived! We have come to rely on computers now in our daily lives that it would become impossible to suddenly have to survive without them. I think the scientists are even coming up with ideas now whereby we can eventually have small computer chips implanted deep within our brains, I guess there's no end to the upcoming technology! Man will always try to be the controller of all computers but there's always the big question, will computers become too smart and then start to think for themselves? If we keep going the way we are going then I would say that this is highly likely! Andrew

yes i think computers are already ruling our lives.. because we have included computers in our lives and now we cant live or spend time without it.. most of our work is done on computers.. if we dont use computers then we will go 50 years back...
