Modern Hermit

Hermit mode... An extension of my antisocial habits. I've always liked being alone, gives me time to think. And come up with new things. I wonder, are there other people who are modern hermits?

can't expalin it either, i like being by my self. ocassionaly i want company, but most the time, i'm happy with me or an animal. i feel like a third wheel most the time, when it comes to being out with friends.

I'm not sure what you'd call me...I'm reclusive by nature for sure. I don't have any friends any more-and I'm thinking maybe that's why. I am just not good with people so I hang out at home a lot..I love being home..watching movies...just in being in the relaxation mode. When I'm around other people-I feel like I can't relax..I get nervous. I've always called it social anxiety..but I don't know what it is really.

Ocassionally, I would go into hermit mode like right now. I cut off any communication with my friends, refuse to answer text messages or emails and turn down invitations for coffee. I'm not really antisocial but sometimes when I want to think about a problem, I like to go at it alone because I hate hearing people say "I also had that problem..." and then proceed to hog the discussion. When I have a problem, I want to talk, and if they are not willing to listen, I keep to myself.

Count me in lol , there are times that i just want to be left alone. Makes me think clearly and gives me a piece of mind. Not that i dont want to be with friends at all its just that there are times that i want to analyze myself talk to myself and ask myself bout the kinds of things that are happening around me . I dont know what this feeling is but in my opinion it helps me calm myself and relieves me from stress from time to time
