GC police don't do anything.

Adam is on the loose and the most likely place he would go is to see Sharon, but the GC police don't check it out; it is left for Nick to do it. The word is that Adam is in the basement and everyone but the police are looking around down there for him. There is a gas leak and it is people like Victor, Nick, etc. who are warning people and ushering them out and no police in site. It is a benefit for the police so I guess they considered it to be a night off.

You would think that the first place the police would go is to Sharon's place but that would make sense and that is not what is happening on the show nowadays.

Soap writers make PD's on all the soaps act like a bunch of do-nothing dorks. It is shameful. The police NEVER solve a mystery...it is either solved "on its own" or some one else solves it. But never the police.
I thought it odd that no police or firefighters were there for an explosion and fire? I mean, come on! No one was questioned.. but they showed that one guy with the big white ruffle shirt standing there in most every out door shot in front of the club. But no police. And Jack and everyone, including Ashley all went back and forth into the Club..on their own..no police or firemen in site. It was rather stupid. But they needed a way to let Adam escape. This was it!

I hope Adam gets caught because he deserves it. I saw the show yesterday and it did explode. I hope that Phyllis got out in time. I am wondering if Sheila had something to do with the gas leak. The police need to get on the ball and catch him.
