Since it is our vacation, I think this will be the best time for me to spend more time with my books. Do you have any books to recommend for me.? I'm open to anything except for academic books. LOL. =D

I recommend that you read the creations of Joshua Harris and Mitch Albom. For me they are geniuses in their craft. Their books are inspirational, not just the typical novel type wherein you can find romance, thrill, suspense and every thing else. Theirs offer something deep yet recreational type of writing.

hello, i recommend you read "the master of hestviken" or "kristen lavransdatter" by sigrid undset. her writing is intense, harsh, depressing, and devastatingly romantic but in a realistic way. the books are about life in medieval norway. they are filled with violence, adultery, political intrigue, romantic separation and longing, loyalty, etc. the characterization is pure genius. after you read those books, you'll feel as if the characters really did exist somewhere in time. they were so real. warning-they are extremely long books(kl was 1047 pages), so they'll definitely take up a whole vacation to read. it took me a whole 2 weeks to read kl, so be prepared.

Hmm... You are 19, so I'm not sure if my suggestions are to your liking. Anyway, if you are interested in getting organised, read books by David Allen. His latest is Making it All Work. When I was your age, I like to romantic novels, but not anymore. I grew out of it, I guess.

You can try read Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". What the Rich teach their kids about money that the Poor and the Middle class do not. It's an eye-opening book.

Well, I could only share limited number of books. What are your interests? My favorite books are the series of Harry Potter and Twilight Saga..I'm not sure if you will like them but for me I really enjoy reading them. I also read Stephen Kings' books..my favorite is Four Past Midnight. Do you like Danielle Steel? I read some of her books. How about books written by Anne Rice or Nancy Drew or John Grisham?

If you like to read historical/fiction, try reading Breaking the Tongue by Vyvyanne Loh. Its about how Singapore was like before, during and after the Japanese invasion. Its an interesting read =)
