if you have money to pay for your school then why not finished it first besides you can work after school. but if you think this hard for you nor for your parents to support your college then try to work first and be a supporting student, having a degree will give you more opportunity to find better work and have high salary.

I think there is not any limitation. Every one has his own choice. If you want to work, go ahead. But, please, keep in mind that, learning is an endless thing. When you felt that you want to study, go to school. Now uust touch your heart that what you want. Take myself for example. After my graduation, I went to work as a teacher. After two years, I found that I want to study. So I went to study for master's degree. And after got it, I went to work in Cisco.

Looks like a family tradition, lol. But for me, I would rather break the "tradition" and finish my college studies. This way, I would have a better choice of what job I want. Though you said that they are "doing good" a college diploma would earn you a better change of having a high paying job than the rest of your siblings. Its the best investment one could have in a lifetime.

Go to college. Keep your options open. Get a job, go to school, work hard, study hard, play hard! I promise it will be the best time of your life. There are also a lot of financial options to put you through school. I worked 30-40 hours a week waiting tables and bartending. It was a blast. I went on to a great career. Now I'm 37. I'm back in school getting a graduate degree. It's even more fun. Education is never a mistake. Good luck!

As long as you are academically and financial able, I think you should proceed onto college. Times are different now. In the past, it's common for people to have not much qualifications but still able to earn a lot. Nowadays, there are full of people with very high qualifications so you have at least to complete college education to get a decent job.

things change over time and one of them is about education. i think it is not realistic to base our decisions (in education that is) with what our parents did. back then it is uncommon for someone to have a Masters Degree but now everyone seems to have one.

I think it all depends. If you have resouces and you are going into something that will get you a much better paying and more important - lasting career, and you know you'd be good at it, then go to college. But I think even better than college is training. It doesn't last as long and therefore doesn't cost as much. A good example is the health care field. There are positions that certification only lasts 9 weeks, rather than 4 years.

Thank you again for the taste of life in our topics. I feel that if I could turn time back and could do it again. I would have gone to college and if I were blessed enough where I did not have to work and just dedicate to school then I would have done that, really study and be good at it, travel some if I could study abroad and later as I am about ready for the work force then also start preparing for it. I say when you have time off why not put your experience and ingenuity to work on some amazing money making project or hobby. I have learned that if you must have hobbies have some that make you money.

College for sure because you can always get a better job going to college. Especially at these time where you need more advantages then other people and most companys wont hire you if you dont go to college.
