April 1st, also known as Fool's Day, a day we could play tricks on anybody, I used to like this day cuz there would be a lot of fun this day, I play jokes and being joked. but for 3 yrs this day has had nothing to do with me, not jokes anymore. i dont know why maybe it's sign of growing up, so tell me how did you spend that day? Joke others or being joked?

I was with my family on April Fool's Day. In my family, it has always been a tradition that we make jokes and joke around until someone is a victim on April Fool's. I am always the victim in the family cause I always believe what they say. My sister told me that I had a package from someone in America but they forgot to bring it so I told them to bring it next time but then again it was just a joke and I just laughed.

Well, during that day, I sent goodbye messages to all my contacts in my mobile phone and changed my status on facebook to like I'm in a very bad mood that I will delete my account. There were lots of reactions and most of them was the question "WHY?". I didn't responded the whole day. I just sent another message both thru text and facebook status by the end of the day greeting everyone a happy april fools' day. It was a simple way of mine to celebrate the day as I was just staying at home because it was Maundy Thursday.

There was only one joke that I can recall anyone playing in our office. The managers got together and put a piece of tape on the bottom of one of the other manager's mouse for his computer. I guess I wasn't around to see his reaction, or if it even worked. I like to play jokes, however it doesn't seem like the people that I work with now have much of a sense of humor. And most of my friends are always too busy these days, so I didn't even see them. Perhaps, like you, it is a sign of coming of age. Although, I think it is just a matter of not being around the right people. The main reason I say that, is because one of the bosses that I had on my previous job was always playing jokes on people. And he also enjoyed it when you played a good joke on him. It was almost like getting bonus points if you could get a good one in on him.

Well for April fools day my boyfriend and I took our neighbors outdoor dog and hid him inside our house. Our neighbor is a good friend of ours so we knew he would come ask us first. When he got home from work sure enough he came to our place and asked us. We told him no we thought u might have left him inside today. But right away his dog whimpered and he knew. We were busted so we said April fools and he just laughed.

I played lots of jokes around my office. I made a copy of a piece of paper with a paper clip on the top of the paper. I ran about 25 copies and then put them back in the paper load tray. So for hours, people tried to print things and couldn't figure out why there was a paper clip on the copy they made, because there was no paper clip on the original copy. They eventually thought that there was a paper clip hung in the copier somewhere and started to tear the copier apart. I had to come clean then they wouldn't call a repair man. :)

I'm a Chinese, where April Fool's Day is not a native festival. Now more and more people in China celebrate it,too.I did nothing special on that day, just attending a English corner,in which I talked about Fool's Day with some friends. We talked about how the Fool's Day came into being and what people in western countries do on this day. That's my Fool's Day.
