Does one sided love works?

I've been in that situation a few times and I have to say it doesn't work. I really think that yeah, I was hanging around hoping he'd grow to love me. That maybe I could change him but I couldn't. It was wearing me out and eating away at me. I gave my all, I sacrificed plenty of times just to have him disappoint me and hurt me over and over again. I had to get away. And then of course once I moved on, he decided he "loves" me and wants to marry me. I didn't fall for it and I think I'm better off without it.

One sided love isn't a relationship for me... Being martyr doesn't work these day (I hope so). Like what you said, love is a give and take process so it's best if two people should be willing to fight for each other rather than the only one would sacrifice.

I used to be like that. I always think that I could not find any other man better than him. LOL. I was still naive and too impulsive. I just laughed at those times when I was a die-hard one-sided lover.

hey dazzle! One sided love? I think that would be very unfair. If that is the situation that person should let the other person go.There is no use investing to much time and effort to someone who doesn't even love you back... This is easier said than done.. I know even if I was in that shoes.I'll stick to the fighting for the one you love and wait until that person loves me back.. haahah
