A sweater

I think it all depends on how serious your relationship is and on the length of the relationship. Here are a few ideas: Flowers (find out her favorite) are good no matter how long you have been together. For a new relationship, don't get too personal. A CD by her favorite group or a DVD she likes would be good. A neutral item of clothing such as a sweater (already suggested) or a really nice scarf and glove set would be nice. If she collects something, add a piece to the collection. If you have been together for awhile, you can be more personal in the gift. A well chosen piece of jewelry would be appropriate. It doesn't have to be an expensive item, just something that you know she would like. One of my favorite jewelry items was given to me by an ex-boyfriend. It is a very simple pair of earrings with pale blue stones to match my eyes. The collection idea works in this category too...if she collects something, add to it. Clothing items are good...make sure you get the right size. Hope these help!
